Thomas A. Turley, 85, Of Harrison, Partner At Mabon Nugent & Company

HARRISON, N.Y. - Thomas A. Turley of Harrison died April 22.  He was 85.

Turley was born December 30, 1927, in New Rochelle to Wilhelmina and James A. Turley. He attended New Rochelle High School, St. Lawrence University and the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. He served as an aviator in the Navy for four years, and retired as a commander in the U.S. Naval Reserves. He was a general partner at Mabon Nugent & Co. in New York and served on the New York Stock Exchange Arbitration Panel and Hearing Board.

Turley was also involved in many civic and charitable organizations, including St. Vincent's Hospital, the Naval Aviation Museum, the McCaddin McQuirk Foundation, and the Princeton Club of N.Y. He served on the board of Governors at the Westchester Country Club.

Turley is survived by his wife, Jane Turley; daughter, Leslie Gibbons; son, Tom Turley Jr.; daughter, Barbara (Scott) Marr; and four granddaughters. He was predeceased by his parents.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 25 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection in Rye.
