HARRISON, N.Y. - Virginia L Eppinger, formerly of Carmel and Harrison, died Oct. 12. She was 80.
Eppinger is survived by her husband, James; siblings Shirley and Jack; children David, Charles, Thomas, and Laurie Brown; and five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Ray.
A memorial service will be held in November. James and family will be sitting Shiva at his home at Watermark, 611 East Hill Road, and 112 Birchwood, Southbury, on Monday, Oct. 14, from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 3:30 to 8 p.m.
Donations may be made in Eppinger’s memory to the Westchester Putnam Council BSA, 41 Saw Mill River Road, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
