Letter: Gelfarb Would Make 'Terrific' Legislator

RYE BROOK, N.Y. - The following letter was sent to Harrison reporter Phil Corso Tuesday detailing why Republican and Conservative candidate David Gelfarb would be a suitable county legislator for District 6. Gelfarb will run for the position in November's general election against Dan Brakewood (D).

District 6 represents Harrison, Rye and Port Chester on the county Board of Legislators.

I am writing to inform you that David B. Gelfarb would make a terrific county legislator. We have been living in BelleFair since inception and David has always played an active role in the community. He did a great job when he was president of the BelleFair. He was truly an asset to the community. For example, when there was flooding in our backyard due to the hill and poor drainage he was an integral part in finding the solution to the problem. He worked hard to rectify the problem and get a drain put in the alleviate the flooding. He was a true advocate for our community. Again, I would like to reiterate what an asset he would be as County Legislator.
