Harrison Police Charge Man With Heroin Possession

HARRISON, N.Y. – Andrew Pienczykowski, 30, of Mount Vernon, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, disorderly conduct, a violation and resisting arrest after an incident at approximately 2 p.m. Friday.

Harrison Police said that Pienczykowski was spotted acting "suspicious" in front of the Harrison Mall, and, when they asked for identification, two decks of heroin fell out of a cigarette box he was holding.

Harrison Police said Pienczykowski pushed a police officer and ran through the mall to the Fremont Street parking lot, eventually being apprehended in front of the Harrison Presbyterian Church on Park Avenue.
