HARRISON, N.Y. – The Harrison Fire Department received three calls Tuesday related to the afternoon's severe thunderstorms.

Assistant Fire Chief Will Nardozzi said the department responded to a power line that was knocked down at 501 Purchase St. behind the Westchester Country Club. The problem was fixed immediately and no injuries or damage to the home were reported. The other two calls received during the storm were from homeowners reporting their security alarms went off.

"We were pretty lucky," Nardozzi said.

The Purchase Fire Department said that they had no calls during the storm.

Multiple calls to the West Harrison Fire Department to request information were not returned.
