RYE, N.Y. — The Harrison, Rye and Westchester County Police Departments have no new information on what turned out to be a false report Wednesday from 105 North St. in Rye.

Approximately 30 police officers descended on the address in response to a call that someone had been shot with a shotgun and three people were barricaded inside. When police went into the house they found the call to be "unfounded."

Harrison Police Chief Anthony Marraccini said Thursday his department had no knowledge of an arrest having been made. Rye Police Commissioner William Connors said the call was sent by text message. Police said the case is currently an open investigation.
