The school district is also looking into the matter after its middle school principal was told Monday that a student may have been carrying a weapon in a backpack after school last Friday. The report also says other students may have seen the weapon.
While police said in the report that they still do not know for sure if a student brought a weapon to school, they know students talked about seeing it and a parent overhead talk of seeing a gun.
