Three DWIs Reported In Harrison

HARRISON, N.Y. - Harrison police charged three people with driving while intoxicated in the last week.

The police said on Sunday, William J. Ehring, 46, of West Harrison was chased into West Harrison by the White Plains Police Department after he alegedly was caught stealing a beer at a 7/11 in White Plains. Harrison police said they picked up the chase and found Ehring at his home at 14 Madison St. A White Plains police officer came to the location where he positively identified Ehring. Ehring was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Harrison police charged Gagan N. Ninesh, 42, of Greenwich, Conn. with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor after his vehicle was pulled over at 11:48 p.m. June 30 at 2975 Westchester Ave. in Purchase. The arresting officer pulled Ninesh over after seeing his vehicle cross over a broken white line into an adjacent lane, police said.

Harrison police arrested David C. Andersen, 32, of Yonkers at 11:10 p.m. June 26 at 2175 Westchester Ave. The police report said Andersen was pulled over after the arresting officer discovered he was driving with a revoked license. The police report said the arresting officer found a small, clear bag containing a white powdery substance in the drivers' side door compartment, two empty Coors Light cans and an empty Mike's Hard Lemonade bottle in the rear pocket of the passenger seat. Andersen was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and driving with a revoked license.
