All Harrison Polling Places To Open Tuesday

HARRISON, N.Y. — Every Harrison polling location will be open Tuesday, Election Day. Any that are still without power will be running on generators, the Westchester County Board of Elections said Monday. 

Harrison residents will be voting in five races, including in the election for president between President Barack Obama (D) and Mitt Romney (R). 

The other four races are:

U.S. House of Representatives District 17

Democratic incumbent Nita Lowey is running against Republican candidate Joe Carvin and We the People candidate Frank Morganthaler.

The 17th District consists of Rockland County, Harrison, Peekskill, Yorktown, Mount Kisco, Ossining, North Castle, New Castle, Mount Pleasant, Greenburgh, Rye and Cortlandt.

U.S. Senate

Democratic incumbent Kirsten Gillibrand takes on Republican challenger Wendy Long.

New York State Senate District 37

Republican Bob Cohen takes on Democrat George Latimer. The 37th District consists of Harrison, Scarsdale, Larchmont, Rye, Ossining and Chappaqua.

New York State Assembly District 93

Republican incumbent Robert Castelli is challenged by Democratic candidate David Buchwald. District 93 includes Harrison, White Plains, Bedford, New Castle, North Salem, Lewisboro, Pound Ridge, Mount Kisco and North Castle.
