HARRISON, N.Y. – George Latimer officially kicked off his campaign for state senate Saturday afternoon in downtown Harrison.

Latimer, currently the 91st District New York State Assembly member, earned the Democratic nomination and will face Republican Bob Cohen for the state senate seat in the 37th District.  Latimer, who has been an assembly member since 2005, accepted the nomination shortly after current state Sen.
