Harrison Food Pantry, Holiday Project Receive Donations

HARRISON, N.Y. – The Harrison Food Pantry and Holiday Project received a combined $3,566 from residents, which awaits Thursday night’s Town Board approval.

In a memo to the Town Board dated Jan. 7, Director of Community Services Nina Marraccini asks for permission to accept the donations. The four donations total $2,625, with two donations of $1,000 coming from anonymous donors. The Harrison-Mamaroneck Rotary Club donated $600, and Joan Mare Stolfi and Alan D. Mahoney gave $25.

When it comes to the 2012 Holiday Project, which raised $17,030, an additional $941 has come in. There were multiple $150 donations from Harrison residents.

The board also will have public hearings on special exception use permits and will receive several monthly organizational reports, including ones from the Police and Fire departments.

The 7:30 p.m. town/village board meetings take place at the Municipal Building courtroom.
