The Town/Village of Harrison will brighten the season with The Holiday Happening Saturday, Dec. 4, in Ma Riis Park across from Town Hall. Activites for kids include Star Kidz, and our elementary school choral groups will sing holiday music and songs. Children will be able to write a letter to Santa, decorate their own ornament, play the dreidel game and have hot chocolate and baked goods. Santa will make a special appearance. The event will culminate with the Christmas tree and menorah lighting in the park.

Every year, St. Gregory’s distributes grocery bags, to their parishioners, to fill in support of the Harrison Food Pantry. Recently, the Harrison Food Pantry received hundreds of bags from the (effort). The town depends entirely on these types of donations to support the Harrison Food Pantry.

The next “Lunch with the Mayor” is Friday, Dec. 11, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Michelangelo's Pizza Pasta & Things, 208 Underhill Ave., in West Harrison.
