HARRISON, N.Y. – Polls for Harrison’s primary election open at 6 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. Tuesday, with one race for two available seats on the Harrison Town/Village Board.
Town/village board member Joseph Cannella will appear on the Conservative primary ballot. There also is an opportunity for voters to write in a candidate’s name.
Additionally, White Plains resident Benjamin Boykin II is running on the Independence ticket for the District 5 seat on the Westchester Board of Legislators. West Harrison resident Mark Jaffe is running on the Independence ticket for the county’s District 6 seat. Voters, depending on their district in Harrison, also have the option of writing in a candidate for the respective District 5 or 6 seat.
Thomas Murphy of Mamaroneck and Catherine Parker of Rye are on the Democratic ticket for the County Legislature's District 7 seat, which also represents parts of Harrison. Parker also is on the Independence ballot, with the option to write-in a candidate.
On the Green Party ticket, there is a write-in ballot available to vote for a District 7 candidate.
