HARRISON, N.Y. -- Incumbents Jackie Greer and Nancy Briotte-Masi led in the races for Harrison town clerk and Harrison receiver of taxes, respectively, with 80 percent of districts reporting.
With 16 out of 20 districts reporting, Greer had 2,925 votes, Briotte-Masi had 2,318 votes. Town clerk challenger Margaret Conover had 1,069 votes and receiver of taxes challenger Maria Fraioli-Fiore had 1,452 votes.
Republcan Greer is a lifelong resident of Harrison who has served as town clerk for two years. She was previously an assistant to the vice president of corporate sales for Alamo Rental Car, and executive assistant to the chairman and president of Kemwel Group Inc. Democrat Conover is a 24-year resident of Harrison who serves as president of the Park Knoll Cooperative board of directors and a board director of the Cooperative and Condominium Advisory Council of Westchester and the Mid-Hudson Valley.
Republican Masi is a lifelong resident of Harrison and was elected receiver of taxes two years ago. Democrat Fiore is a 55-year resident of Harrison who served as the longtime manager of the Washington Mutual Bank on Halstead Avenue and later served as the branch manager of the JP Morgan Chase branch adjacent to Newport Towers.
