Pataki Returns To Peekskill For Presidential Campaign Rally

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – Presidential hopeful and former New York Gov. George Pataki participated in a hometown rally Sunday in Peekskill, according to lohud.com.

Pataki’s political start was as the mayor of Peekskill; he announced his pursuit of the Republican presidential nomination in a four-minute video released Thursday.

The former governor, who lives in Garrison, enthusiastically thanked the supporters gathered at the Lincoln Depot Museum, saying that wherever he goes he always considers Peekskill his “home,” lohud.com reported.

Many people attending the afternoon rally held either homemade or professionally made “Pataki For President” signs, according to lohud.com.
