GARRISON, N.Y. – Former governor and presidential candidate George Pataki has entered the food scene with beef products supplied from South Farm, his 412-acre farm in Essex, New York, reports the Wall Street Journal.

The Garrison resident and Peekskill native’s stand at a farmer’s market in Manhattan’s West Village has been selling his meat products every Saturday since June, according to the report.

In addition to supplying fresh grass-fed beef, his farming business could provide help with his presidential run as it gains attention from donors and voters who focus on agrarian issues, according to the Wall Street Journal.
