HARRISON, N.Y. – The Harrison Town and Village Boards will be discussing several items, including some with presentations, during their Aug. 2 meetings.
Three presentations will take place during the town board meeting. The first will be from a New York chapter representative of Coalition Against Bigger Trucks, and the second will be a presentation on the master plan by Frank Fish of BFJ Planning.
Gabriella Gizzo and Amanda Pugliese, 2012 Harrison High School graduates, will be presented with achievement awards for receiving the Girl Scout Gold Award.
Gerry Salvo, superintendent of the Harrison Recreation Department, will request nominations for the 2012 Citizen of the Year Award, which will be presented at the “Great to live in Harrison Celebration” on Oct. 8.

During the village board meeting, there will be a public hearing on proposed pump station improvements at the Sewer Maintenance District at a maximum cost of $257,000.
