HARRISON, N.Y. -- The real estate listing of a Harrison home dubbed, "The Fortress of Solitude," is getting national attention on Curbed.com after its owner has put it on the market for $1.575 million.
The spiky, white, modern home was named and designed in honor of Superman's Arctic hideaway from the iconic comic and film series.
The house was re-designed from the ground up by a cosmetics executive in 1998, according to the article.
The 4,247-square-foot house includes three bedrooms, Volga blue granite floors, remote-controlled skylights, and a Snaidero kitchen with a wood-burning pizza oven.
