Byrd's Books Hosts Author Garth Stein At Danbury's WestConn

DANBURY, Conn. – New York Times best-selling author Garth Stein is delivering a reading and presentation of his latest book, "A Sudden Light,” at the Ruth Haas Library at Western Connecticut State University on March 21 at 6:30 p.m.

A question-and-answer session along with a book signing will follow this event presented by Byrd’s Books.

“A Sudden Light” tells the story of a family confronting long-buried secrets as it struggles for forgiveness and redemption in the Pacific Northwest.

Stein has also written “Raven Stole the Moon,” “How Evan Broke His Head and Other Secrets,” and “The Art of Racing in the Rain.”

“The Art of Racing in the Rain” has sold more than 4 million copies in 35 languages, and spent more than three years on the New York Times best-seller list. It inspired a young reader edition, a children's picture book adaptation, and a stage adaptation by the Book-It Repertory Theatre in Seattle. Universal Studios is currently developing it into a major motion picture.
