Fort Lee Vehicle Clash Leaves Two Stabbed, One Charged

FORT LEE, N.J. -- An argument among a trio of car occupants ended when one of them injured the others with an X-Acto knife, Fort Lee police said.

Brian Guerrero, 23, of Paramus was released on a summonses after being charged with aggravated assault and weapons possession Sunday night, Sgt. Cory Horton.

Guerrero attacked both the knife, which was in his silver Volkswagen Golf, while they were traveling near Palisades Boulevard and 16th Street around 2 p.m. Sunday, Horton said.

Both victims got out and walked to police headquarters while Guerrero drove off, he said.

One victim had a cut on his right arm and the other a puncture wound on his hand, Horton said. Fort Lee Ambulance Corps tool them to the hospital.

"One victim was cooperative with the [police]investigation, while the second refused," the captain said.

Detectives tracked down Guerrero, who confessed, the captain said.They also found blood and the weapon in the car, he said.

The Bergen County Bureau of Criminal Identification was processing the vehicle, Horton said,
