City Green is dedicated to facilitating the establishment of urban farms and gardens in northern New Jersey’s cities, creating increased access to healthy, local food while cultivating education in food systems, nutrition and the environment, according to its website.

Guests were treated to a five-course fundraiser dinner using farm-fresh, local and seasonal dishes made from ingredients grown in City Green's gardens.

Donations will support City Green’s “Growing Strong” high school intern program, offering paid summer employment, youth development and job training to inner city students.
