It's something President Stephen Friedman can't help but be excited about.

"We are rebuilding about half this campus," Friedman said in an interview with Daily Voice.

In addition to two new residences halls, Pace's student center is being completely rebuilt along with the dining and athletic facilities.

"We are really reconfiguring this half of the campus to make it much more beautiful," Friedman said.

Most of the project will be completed by this summer, Freidman said.

The Pace Master Plan is among the topics Friedman discussed with Daily Voice Founder and CEO Carll Tucker in the first installment of a new series "Daily Voice Leaders," which spotlights many of the key decision makers in Westchester County.

Friedman also discussed:

* What makes Pace special?

* Two campuses: advantage or disadvantage?

* Challenges facing law schools.

* Pace's digital future.
