Harrison Ave. Only Westchester Elementary Named To Blue Ribbon List

HARRISON, N.Y. - Harrison Avenue was the only elementary school in Westchester named a Blue Ribbon School, the U.S. Department of Education announced Tuesday.

The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools where students perform at very high levels or where significant improvements are being made in students' academic achievement.

Eighteen schools in New York were named to the prestigious national list.
