Harrison High Play Set For The Weekend

HARRISON, N.Y. – The Harrison High School Playhouse group will be performing Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” this weekend, but it comes with a twist.

The playwright’s classic comedy will feature a 1980s concrete-jungle approach to both set design and costumes.

Watch out for neon -- "and if you’re lucky, shoulder pads,” said the play's director, Harrison High School Theatre Arts teacher Nina Mansfield.

She called the play “a true treat for the entire family” and said it would be fun.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., plus Sunday at 1 p.m. After Sunday’s show, there will be a 15-minute Q&A session with the cast and crew.
