As part of a week-long event, intricate gingerbread houses were created by faculty and students and placed on display. Students later voted on their favorite confectionery creations.
On Thursday, students were treated to an ice sculpting demonstration by New York-based sculptor Mark Mckenzie.

An art exhibition leading into the courtyard accompanied the festivities as well as caroling by the school's Madrigal Singers and performances from a small orchestral group.
As part of the celebration, students feasted on platters of cookies and hot cocoa donated and served by members of the HHS PTA.
