HARRISON, N.Y. – All Harrison schools will remain closed Wednesday as a result of Hurricane Sandy, according to the school district website.

All school-related activities are canceled as well. It is unknown when the Harrison Central School District will reopen.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Eastbound traffic on I-287 was moving very slowly Wednesday afternoon for several miles.

According to several reports, traffic was moving less than 25 mph from the Saw Mill River Parkway in Elmsford to east of the Bronx River Parkway in West Harrison.

Saw Mill River Parkway Crash In Elmsford Slows Traffic Tuesday

GREENBURGH, N.Y. - Two lanes southbound on the Saw Mill River Parkway were blocked Tuesday evening due to a multiple car accident on just south of Exit 20 near the I-287 in Elmsford.

The right lanes in both northbound and southbound directions of the parkway were closed around 5 p.m. with emergency vehicles on the scene.
