HARRISON, N.Y. -- Harrison Central School District secretary Robin Webb recently won a state secretarial award for excellence.

Webb received the 2014 Judith A. Martens Secretarial Award of Excellence for Section 1, from the New York State Athletic Administration Association. The award honors a secretary to an athletics administrator "who has demonstrated outstanding contributions to athletics at the local level," according to a release.

"Robin, a strong supporter of the Harrison Athletic Department, has been the Harrison athletic secretary for the past 15 years and has worked with three Athletic Directors in that time period," school representatives said.

"Each Section forms a committee through which nominees are submitted and there were several nominations for this award," said Stewart Hanson, the director of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics for the Harrison Central School District. "It is not surprising that Robin was the unanimous selection for all members of the committee."
