Third, fourth and fifth graders at the school helped out as part of the Brown Bag Brigade outreach project. The students at the school decorated brown bag lunch bags and filled them with food for the local soup kitchen in Port Chester.

Students also participated in the "Pause for A Cause" outreach initiative to collect items for the Harrison Food Pantry.

The students of Parsons Elementary are also set to team up with the town of Harrison in the Holiday Project, which spreads holiday cheer to families in need. The town of Harrison is putting together baskets that include gift cards to local retailers, grocery certificates and toys for the nearly 130 children in the area.
