HARRISON, N.Y. -- Harrison resident and University of Rhode Island student Christopher Morris will be featured in URI Theatre's upcoming production of "Seminar."
Morris will play the loathsome teacher, Leonard.
An edgy, contemporary, comedic play written by Pulitzer Prize nominee Teresa Rebeck, "Seminar" involves four postgraduate aspiring writers who hire a well-known writing guru to critique their work. They get much more than they bargained for, as his powerful persona disrupts their well-being in many unexpected ways.
The show will be staged Thursday, Oct. 9, through Saturday, Oct. 11, and Thursday, Oct. 16, through Saturday, Oct.18, at 7.30 p.m. and Saturdays, Oct. 12 and 19, at 3 p.m. in J Studio in the Fine Arts Center on the Kingston campus.
General admission is $20, $15 for seniors, URI faculty/staff, and $12 for students.
For reservations, call 401-874-5843 or visit at web.uri.edu/theatre.
