Laurence Gottlieb to Speak at Manhattanville

PURCHASE, N.Y. – Laurence Gottlieb, Director of Economic Development for the office of County Executive Rob Astorino, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Business Career Fair at Manhattanville College.

Gottlieb will give the keynote address, “Westchester County: Today and Tomorrow” on April 17 at the career fair, hosted by the college’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies.

According to a news release from Manhattanville College, Gottlieb has helped retain, attract and grow business in the county. Gottlieb’s marketing campaign, “New York’s Intellectual Capital,” won multiple awards.

“Laurence Gottlieb is a great resource for young professionals who are hoping to explore their career options,” said Kathy Fitzgerald, Vice President for Enrollment Management at Manhattanville in a news release. “It is an honor to have Mr. Gottlieb speak at Manhattanville. His knowledge and perspective on Westchester economics furthers our dedication to helping the next generation of business executives.”

The career fair, which begins with Gottlieb’s speech at 11 a.m., gives students, alumni and professionals the opportunity to network with some of the region’s top corporations, nonprofit organizations and staffing and recruitment firms. The career fair will be held at the Reid Castle.
