Hiring managers and leaders from the sports world will convene for the seventh annual New York Metro area sport business career event. This event was developed by the Manhattanville Sport Business Management Degree Program, and is being offered to anyone interested in pursuing a career in the $500 billion sport business industry.

A sports human resources panel will kick off the proceedings at 10 a.m., moderated by sports executive and recruiter Keith Cutler and featuring human resources executives from the NFL, USTA, Octagon and NBC Sports.

More than 30 hiring managers will be on hand, including numerous sports teams, leagues associations and agencies.

“We are pleased to continue to offer this event, free of charge, as an outgrowth of our successful Sport Business Management graduate program at Manhattanville,” said Dave Torromeo, executive director of the Sport Business program at Manhattanville.

“Based on the sport business curriculum we have developed, our convenient location, and relationships with the sports business leaders, hosting events like this is a natural and we believe offering these events provides an invaluable tool for the industry and for students interested in a career in sports, and represents an important step in promoting awareness of opportunities in an exciting, growing, competitive marketplace.”

Along with its 8-year-old Sport Business Management graduate program, the college has expanded its offerings with a Sport Studies undergraduate program, making Manhattanville the best destination to learn all areas of sports related curriculum.

The career fair is open to the public and free of charge. For more information, visit www.mville.edu/sportscareerfair.
