The institute, supported by PepsiCo as the founding sponsor, will be the first of its kind in Westchester and surrounding areas to meet the leadership and professional development needs of women in the workplace.
The Women’s Leadership Institute will offer educational programs, mentoring and coaching, training, and access to latest applicable research studies. The program will focus on creating innovative model programs that link theory and practice, hard and soft skills throughout a variety of fields, and philanthropy in the nonprofit sector.
Participants will also be exposed to interdisciplinary leadership education opportunities that deepen understanding of critical issues affecting women.
“To reach the highest levels of leadership, it is essential for women to recognize, understand, and transform common business challenges and organizational strategic priorities into career development opportunities,” said Kathy Meany, director. “The Women’s Leadership Institute will provide women with the skills and resources needed to succeed in the workplace.”
The launch event will feature special guest speakers, networking opportunities, and refreshments.
