Rebecca Greenwell, Ph.D., joins Harrison Middle School as its psychologist.
For the past two years, Greenwell has served as a middle school psychologist in New York City. She also has provided psychological services as a clinician with a private agency in New York and as a behavioral therapist for children at Camp Venture in Nanuet. Danielle Pace will serve as a long?term substitute art teacher for Harrison Middle School during the 2014?15 school year.
Pace completed her student teaching in art at Fox Lane High School and Somers Intermediate School. She has served for the past year as a community educator through My Sister’s Place, which provides workshops for students on bullying awareness and violence prevention. Pace also has served as an art workshop instructor at the Osborne School in Rye.
Johnanna Schroeder served as a leave replacement social studies teacher at the Louis M. Klein Middle School in 2013?14. She will serve as a probationary social studies teacher starting in September. Schroeder also taught high school social studies classes at Fox Lane High School in Bedford. Joanna Venditto served as a leave replacement mathematics teacher at the Louis M. Klein Middle School in 2013?14. She will serve as a probationary mathematics teacher starting in September.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Fordham University and a master’s degree in mathematics education from Teachers College at Columbia University. She completed her student teaching at The School at Columbia University.
