Purchase College Holds A Snowman-Making Contest

PURCHASE, N.Y. -- Students at SUNY-Purchase dealt with the wintery conditions Friday by having a campus-wide snowman-making competition.

Margaret Murphy, a Purchase student, won the competition with a pair of well-dressed snowmen.

"Hipster snow-people blend right in at Purchase," said Murphy.

Students were urged to build creative snowmen with "Purchase College swag," according to an email sent by Denny Santos, assistant director of residence life.
