Several Harrison Residents Graduate From College

HARRISON, N.Y. – Colleges in various parts of the United States announced the graduation of several Harrison residents.

Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. announced Pasquale Falciglia of Harrison earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration while Patricia Forrest of Harrison received the same degree but in psychology. West Harrison resident Diane Martins also received a Bachelor of Arts in social work from Sacred Heart.

Alexandra DeFonce of West Harrison graduated from the Ithaca College School of Business with a degree in business administration. Finally Hilary Giorgi of Harrison earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of Hartford. Giorgi graduated Summa Cum Laude and was named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2012 semester.

Harrison resident Margarita Karasoulas earned a Master of Art degree in history from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Purchase resident Elizabeth Seter received a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.

James Padgett of Harrison graduated from Union College in Schenectady with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering.

Other college announcements

Katelyn Marie Murphy was named to the Dean’s List at Clemson University in South Carolina for the spring 2012 semester.

High school graduation

Haley Walsh of Purchase graduated from the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Conn. Walsh was the vice president of the senior class and president of the Breast Cancer Awareness Club. Walsh is headed to Washington, D.C. this fall to study at American University.
