RYE BROOK, N.Y. -- The Southern Westchester BOCES Board of Education and administration honored two dozen retirees at the Annual Retirement Reception June 8 in Rye Brook, N.Y.

The honorees are:

  • Glenn Demers, Teacher of Auto Body Repair, 38 years Nathaniel M. Floyd, School Psychologist, 35 years
  • Susan Rade Doherty, Teacher of Speech & Hearing Handicapped, 33 years
  • Steve Rosen, Systems Analyst Programmer, 33 years
  • Patricia Ferris, Teacher of Special Education, 30 years
  • Janet Fiebert, Teacher of Speech & Hearing Handicapped, 30 years
  • Susan Hochberg, Teacher of Special Education, 29 years
  • Molly Simmons, Teaching Assistant, 29 years

Deputy Superintendent/COO Jacqueline O'Donnell introduced the honorees. They were greeted by District Superintendent Harold Coles and Board President Joseph Wooley.

The reception was catered by Chef Gerry Murphy and students in the Culinary Arts program at SWBOCES' Career and Technical Education campus in Valhalla.
