Braimswig Helps Manhattanville Over Baruch

PURCHASE, N.Y. - Senior Trevoy Pointer led all scorers with 23 points and Pleasantville's Jack Braimswig had a double double in an 84-70 non-conference victory at the ARC Arena in New York City Thursday.

Manhattanville (3-5) had 10 players score in a balanced attack that produced a season-high point total.

Pointer (Dallas, Texas) hit on 9-of-13 shooting while also dishing out seven assists to go with four rebounds and two steals. Pleasantville sophomore Jack Bramswig posted his second straight double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing a career-high 12 rebounds.

Senior Armani Blackmon (Plano, Texas) had 14 points and six rebounds, while senior Jeff Ventura (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and sophomore Colin Campbell (Miami, Fla.) each score nine points and Campbell also led all players with four steals, followed by Bramswig with three.

The Valiants return to action Saturday in Wayne, N.J., to face William Paterson at 3 p.m. Baruch (3-5) will play its second straight game Saturday, hosting SUNY Purchase at 1 p.m.
