PURCHASE, N.Y. - Amanda DeChent had two goals and two assists, fueling Manhattanville to a 5-2 win over visiting Stevenson in womens college field hockey, Sunday. The game was held in conjunction with Play 4 The Cure, to support breast cancer research. Manhattanville has won six of its last eight games. DeChent, a Putnam Valley graduate, evened the score at 2-2 with just over a minute remaining in the first half, then gave Manhattanville the lead three minutes into the second half. DeChent leads the team in scoring with 10 goals and eight assists. Senior Alyssa Nardone scored her first goal of the season.
