Harrison Boys Basketball To Play In Mamaroneck Tourney

HARRISON, N.Y. – The Mamaroneck High School boys basketball team will host several local teams in the Sound Shore Classic on Friday and Saturday, including the Harrison Huskies.

Mamaroneck won its own tournament last year for the first time since the 2007-08 season, and the same four teams will again participate this year. Rye will face Harrison in the first game Friday at 5 p.m., while the host Tigers will take on local rival Rye Neck at 7 p.m.

The winners will face off in the championship game at 7 p.m. Saturday while the losers will meet in the consolation game at 5 p.m.

Two years ago, Harrison defeated Mamaroneck at the buzzer. In last year’s tournament, the Huskies defeated Rye in the first round but then fell to Mamaroneck, 46-34, in the championship game.
