Harrison High School Athletes Make College Choices

HARRISON, N.Y. – Harrison High School graduates Robert Waldman and Bryan Pon have announced that they will continue to play sports at the college level in the fall.

Waldman will be attending Ohio State University, where he will play lacrosse. Waldman was a long-stick middie defensman for the Harrison High Huskies. Ohio State is part of the Big Ten Conference, and was the number three seed in the most recent NCAA Lacrosse Tournament.

Pon will swim for Johns Hopkins University. Pon’s strength is breas tstroke, and he qualified for the New York State Boys Swimming and Diving Championship this year. Johns Hopkins University has sent swimmers to the NCAA Championships every year since 1976.
