Harrison's Malusis Headlines Kentucky Derby Panel

HARRISON, N.Y. – Harrison’s Marc Malusis, a WFAN radio and SNY personality, will be part of a panel of experts who will make their picks for the Kentucky Derby in May.

Malusis will join the New York Post’s John DaSliva, SiriusXM radio host Dave Johnson, the Daily Racing Form’s Dan Illman and Anthony Stabile from VegasInsider.com. The panel will make its picks at noon on Tuesday, May 1 at Gallagher’s Steakhouse in New York City.

The predictions will take place at a three-course lunch featuring cuisine from Kentucky. The Daily Racing Form co-sponsors the event, which is in its 12th year.

Those who wish to attend the event can purchase a package that includes lunch and a Daily Racing Form cap for $65. Here are the items on the menu for that day, courtesy of a press release from Celia Aniskovich at Cirillo World:

Starting Gate: Choice of either Soup: Kentucky Burgoo: Slow cooked soup with shredded chicken, pork, beef, veal and vegetables or Salad: Spinach salad served with apple onion vinaigrette. 

The Stretch: Choice of Bourbon glazed double cut pork-chop served with whipped sweet potatoes; or Blackened CAB steak served with bourbon molasses butter; or Slow roasted salmon with Jim Beam Kentucky bourbon sauce; or traditional Kentucky hot brown open-faced turkey sandwich with bacon and a delicate Mornay sauce, served with Louisville hash browns. 

The Finish Line: Pecan Pie.
