Manhattanville Men's Soccer Team Still Undefeated

PURCHASE, N.Y. -- Following a scoreless first half Saturday, the Manhattanville men’s soccer team finished its chances in the second half, scoring three goals in a 3-1 victory over visiting Berkeley in the Valiant Classic

.Manhattanville, which improved to 4-0 this season, outshot the visitors, 9-1 in the first half and collected four corner kicks to none for Berkeley, but was unable to find the back of the bet.

Eros Olazabal opened the scoring for Manhattanville, but Berkeley answered with the equalizer.

The even score would not last long. Olazabal gave the Valiants the lead for good, finishing off a pass from Daniel Carlryd. Keston George added an insurance goal -- his fourth of the season -- assisted by Carmel graduate Kyle Cassidy.

Goalie Jason Torres, a Harrison graduate, registered his fourth win of the season.
