PURCHASE, N.Y. -- Manhattanvilles Pierre-Olivier Lemieux is beginning to monopolize the East Coast Conference hockey goalie-of-the-week award.
Lemieux was selected for the award for the third time this season. He handled 30 of 33 shots in a 9-3 win over Morrisville State. Lemieux established a new program singles-season standard with 631 saves. The former mark was 617, set in the 2006-07 season by Andrew Gallant.
On the season, Lemieux is 13-5-3 with a 2.70 goals against average and a .917 save percentage. He also has three shutouts.
