POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Manhattanville field hockey team wrapped up a dominating weekend Saturday with a 4-1 win over host Vassar to win the Betty Richey Field Hockey Tournament.
Goalkeeper Amy Hilton was named the tournament Most Valuable Player, allowing two goals in two games.
Rye graduate Alyssa Coughlan, Melissa Goncalves, Kayla Meenan and Chelsea Klein were selected to the all-tournament team.
Manhattanville opened the tournament Friday with a 9-1 win over Bay Path. Britney Themistocles broke a 1-1 tie late in the first half for Manhattanville. Coughlan scored the first goal of the game. Alyssa Tourdot and Meenan scored in the second half.
In Manhattanvilles victory Friday, Megan Greene and Coughlan each had two goals and an assist. Amanda DeChent, a Putnam Valley graduate, and Themistocles added two goals apiece.
