The Setters introduce a new cast of players this season as second-year head coach Pat Kennedy put together a balanced group of transfers and freshmen to pair with his three returners.   Pace will be highlighted by junior Jaylen Mann, who led all returners in game action last season. Mann started in 24 contests last season, reaching double figures in 10 of them. Junior Shelton Mickell enters his first season for the Setters, having come over from Central Connecticut University this season. Mickell posted 40 points, 12 assists and nine steals in limited action during his freshman season with the Blue Devils.

Junior Kyle Pearson projects to be another impact transfer from Fairleigh Dickinson University. As a two-year member of the Knights, Pearson averaged 3.4 points per game and shot 55.5 percent from the field in 15 games as a sophomore.

A third transfer, from Monmouth University, senior Khalil Brown is expected to anchor the inside as the starting center for the Setters this season. During his junior season at Monmouth, Brown averaged 3.0 points and 0.7 rebounds per contest while shooting 46 percent from the field.   The Setters kick things off this year on the road against Division I opponent University of Rhode Island on Friday, Nov. 14, before returning to New York to take part in the STAC Tournament. Pace will take on Molloy College on Saturday, Nov. 15, and host St. Thomas Aquinas College on Sunday, Nov. 16, with both games starting at 6 p.m. Pace will play its first home game at the Goldstein Fitness Center against Northeast-10 Conference opponent The College of St. Rose on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 7:30 p.m.   To view the entire 2014-15 schedule, click here.
