PURCHASE, N.Y. -- Purchase came storming back in the second half, but visiting SUNY-Old Westbury held off the Panthers, 78-66, in a mens college basketball game Thursday. The Panthers were trailing by 30 with 14 minutes remaining in the game, but a 28-2 run brought them within six. D.J. Smith paced Purchase with 17 points and Justin Person, a Woodlands alumnus, finished with 14 points.
