Harrison Baseball Falls In Little League Playoffs

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – Scarsdale and Rye both advanced Tuesday in New York District 20 Little League tournament action at Gedney Field in White Plains. The two 11/12 Baseball division teams were competed in the losers bracket.

Scarsdale overpowered Harrison, 12-2, in the first game at 5:45 p.m. Rye knocked off Sherman Park, 8-4, in the second game at 8 p.m. The winners will meet Thursday at 5:45 p.m. at Brentwood Park in Harrison.

Eastchester will face Ardsley at 5:45 p.m. Thursday at O’Rourke Field in Eastchester in the winners bracket of the double-elimination tournament. The loser of that game will face the winner of Rye-Scarsdale Saturday at 2 p.m. at McDowell Park in Ardsley.

The championship game will be Monday at 5:45 p.m. at Pat Henry Field in Valhalla.
