For the first time in SHC cross country history, the team earned the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) regular season championship title and the varsity team finished first in the championship meet. Seven varsity runners finished in the top 25 of the championship meet this week.

Hannah Cleary, ’18, earned third place overall with a time of 20:32.3 and was named FAA All-League. Anna Liddy, ’16, Maggie Semprevivo, ’16, Ruthie O'Driscoll, '17 and Emma O’Shea ’19, each received FAA Honorable Mentions. Both Semprevivo and O’Shea broke their personal best records during the race.

The junior varsity team also earned a great victory, winning their championship meet. Jackie Quinn, ’19, took first place overall and Molly Semprevivo, ’18, took second place overall. Both girls set personal best records as well.

"Coach Simon and I are honored to have coached such talented and determined athletes. Each member of the team progressed throughout the season and earned these victories," Coach Christine Farrell, ’05, said.
