Sound Shore Championships at SUNY Purchase

PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Sound Shore Lacrosse League will hold its championship games Monday night at Purchase College with three games on tap beginning at 7 p.m.

Southwest, the Division 3 No. 1 seed, will meet No. 6 Crown Trophy in the 7 p.m. opener followed by No. 1 No Limit facing off against No. 2 Prime Time in the 8:15 p.m. the Division 1 title matchup. The 9 p.m. game matches No. 1 Husked Corn against No. 3 Grip it Rip in a Division 2 game.

The Sound Shore Lacrosse League’s Westchester High School championship between White Plains and Putnam will be played at White Plains High School at 7 p.m.

Founded in 1982, Sound Shore has grown into a lacrosse factory boasting 47 adult club teams and 19 high school teams that play throughout Westchester and Rockland Counties and Connecticut. The organization also supports a summer field hockey program. Players come from dozens of Westchester communities.
