Top Westchester Coaches Host Basketball Clinic

YONKERS, N.Y. – Former New Rochelle High School boys basketball coaches Dr. Jim Bostic and Rev. Dr. Calvin Sampson will host a four-day coaches clinic April 16-20 at the Cross Hill Academy in Yonkers.

The clinic will feature former National Basketball Association players and top college and high school coaches from the New York area. They will teach coaching skills for high school modified, junior varsity and varsity coaches, camp directors and college coaches.

Bostic, a former Section 1 All-Star at Gorton High School in Yonkers, college star and NBA and ABA professional as well as a high school and college coach, will join former New Rochelle High coach Nat Harris, former Mount Vernon High star and NBA player Lowes Moore, Gorton High football coach Dan DeMatteo and others in teaching the clinic.
